Where's Ed?

Where ever you drop anchor, after the first drink is served, everyone wants to catch up on the news of friends on boats. Where's ?? is a common question. So to try and answer the question, Where's Ed? here's a clue where you might find me.

A few weeks of rest around the holidays are over. I'm on my way to Nicaragua to learn more about that country and their rum. Then over to Jamaica to, well er, drink some rum. And to confirm some of the rumors and/or lies I've been told about their favorite drink. With a little more than luck, I'll be seeing some of you on the west coast at the end of the month.

When I dream up a better job, I'm going to take it. In the meantime, the research continues.

Your January sound much better than mine.

Sure you don't want to trade? You can see several exotic locations; such as Tracy (California), Corona (California), Santa Ana (California).

Or I have a better trade deal, you can come and see Stockholm in her winter glory, use my bar freely and take care of 2 self-willed teenage boys and a crazy cat, a orchid wardian case and some fishes..

To be honest, if I could, I would definitely take you up on that. Haven't been to Europe since 1992 when I went to Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Make it mid June/July if you do come but don't count on getting any special rums from here.

I'll actually be in Germany for Oktoberfest this year with my wife and my brother. Really looking forward to that.
