Default Grenadine Recipe

I used the following recipe:

1 cup pomegranate juice
1 cup sugar
1 oz pomegranate molasses
1 oz vodka for preservative
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
few drops orange flower water

Heat juice just enough to incorporate sugar and remove from heat. Mix in all other ingredients and let cool.

Much better than anything I have ever bought, and it made the best Bacardi Cocktail I've had.

Turkish delights rarely come from Turkey, and as orgeat is no more made from barley ("orge") grenadine is since very long made with red berries and , most important, elder flower, as the lightly bitter after taste of the pomegranate did not please to children who are the biggest syrup consumers.
So do not confuse grenadine and sirop de grenade...
