Geez, I've never even been on a thread of any kind before so I'm not even sure if I'm posting my introduction in the right place. I really haven't been drinking rum that long. My neighbor has cruised the Caribbean and turned me on to Cruzan Dark Aged Rum. That was about a year ago. I sip premium tequila so I thought that I would give sipping rum a try. Not bad I thought with the Cruzan but I was intrigued one day when I saw a bottle of Pyrat Rum XO Reserve and bought it. Loved it. On my 3rd bottle now. Last week I was in a liquor store and on the clearance rack was a bottle of Original Black Magic Black Spiced Rum. OMG! So I'm not far from killing the bottle so I did a search to find where I could get another bottle (that liquor store was about 80 miles from my house). That's how I stumbled on The Ministry of Rum. What a find! No one I know except my next door neighbor who has since moved drinks rum so this forum is perfect for me to learn about rum. I still need to find Original Black Magic Black Spiced Rum closer to my house.

Sazerac is the company that distributes black magic. You may want to email them or call them, they should be able to tell you local suppliers in your area. Hopefully.
