New England - that's in the US

Where it all began in the colonies, rum is again becoming the spirit of choice. Have you seen anything on the shelves that shouldn't be missed by others.

Perhaps it is an anomaly, but Ron Zacapa XO, which was still offered at the sale price yesterday, is no longer listed on the shoppers website.

Nothing lasts forever. All good things will come to an end, well you get the idea. But I'm confident that Shopper's Vineyard will come through with another good deal shortly. Actually I'm surprised that it lasted this long.

It isn't surprising that the sale is over, but one would have thought that it would become a regular, non-sale item at that point.

My guess is that they are out of inventory so they took it off their site to avoid the problems of back orders, etc. I'll see what I can find out.

This certainly is a new development - I forwarded the working link to someone yesterday. Hopefully just a short break.

I have to say that I was already a fan of SV and ordered from them often, but with this deal and the Oronoco deal they have really locked up my loyalty!

Assuming that they are restocking, aficionados of this rum would do very well to get a bottle (or two) even at the non-sale price of $69.99 to hedge their bets.

Ah yes, I think they call that cost averaging in some places.

We just launched a new website and are still working out the bugs. The Zacapa XO is now back on the site.

It is also still on sale. Thanks for the update Seth, and for the great specials and rum selection.
