It was my birthday last week. I've received Admiral Rodney and Plantation Guyana 1999. Both really good.

I just bought Plantation Guyana but did not open it. How would you compare it to El Dorado's ?

Plantation Guyana 1988 Single Cask
J. Bally Rhum Très Vieux Réserve de la Famille
Saint Etienne Rhum Extra Vieux 2002 Sherry Finish
Saint Etienne Rhum Extra Vieux 2002 Single Malt Finish
J.M Rhum Vieux Millesimé 2001
Chantal Comte Rhum Extra Vieux La Tour de L´Or 2002
(This one is a 9 year old cask strength Agricole from Martinique, from the La Favorite distillery. There has been another bottling by Chantal Comte named La Tour de L´Or before, being a cask strength release from Marie Galante, but I like the La Favorite much more.)

Just bought 3 bottles of Sailor Jerry which is currently on for a small discount at the LCBO. 'Tis the season for nog and I was looking for a nice spiced rum to do that with. Now with that said, this will be my first go at Sailor Jerry and I'm only going on reviews etc. I hope to not be disappointed. I've read that this one is just good enough to enjoy as a sipper too... Anyone here care to share any thoughts on this one?
