I've updated the member map feature to make it easier to add your location. Just click on the link under the member map.

Diplimatico
In my search for a source of Cacique rum from Venezuala I discovered, much to my surprise, that a company in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada was importing keg volumes of Diplimatico from Venezuala. They are decanting into near identical bottles to the ones sold in Venezuala and selling this product at $36 a bottle ( 26 0z. ) in all B.C. liquor stores. Now while I don't have the most discerning pallet in the world by any stretch I did a taste comparison with some of my remaining Diplimatico that I got in 2009 while in Venezuala. I could not discern any difference. My wife also had the same conclusion. I hope this is useful to some of the membership. Cheers.

OK I have broken my map entry! That is to say I was updating it, and after I moved the icon it is nowhere to be seen any more.
Ed, do you have a fix?
Also I have become partial to Ron Diaz, a Barbados Rum bottled by Crosby Lake Spirits. Can't find anything on here about it. It is very inexpensive.

Ron Diaz is a private label and the bottler doesn't want to give me any verifiable information and for that reason I don't list it in this database.
As for your map position. I'll have to look into it. Can you PM me your location - lat, lon?
