Default Slap in the face

My new favorite drink. Mt. Gay Eclipse & Tonic, or as natives say a "slap in the face"

How very strange. My brother and I were down in Brisbane early last week and decided to have a quiet brink together. What did we buy? A bottle of Mount Gay Eclipse and a bottle of Tonic Water to mix it with!

What's even more strange is that I mentioned to my wife that I'd taken a shine to mixing rum with tonic water and she decided she'd like to try it herself. So we sat down together last night and had a couple of Captain Morgan Spiced rums with tonic. I was mixing mine as a double nip and equal amount of tonic over ice and Fiona's was a traditional nip over ice then filled with tonic with a quarter of lime squeezed in for good measure.

They both went down very nicely and I think I may have found myself an easy drinking replacement for the traditional Bundy and Coke.

...or St. Vincent Extra Gold with Q Tonic! And, the results are still the same, "slap in the face"!
