Smile Hiking Gros Piton in Saint Lucia

Visiting the Caribbean should be in everyone rum lover's bucket list, especially places like Barbados and Martinique since they are home to several distilleries and a wide selection of rum.

Saint Lucia is just north of Martinique, and it's worth a visit to check out Saint Lucia Distillers and try rum like Bounty, Chairman's Reserve, and 1931.

Hiking Gros Piton is one of the Top Things to do in Saint Lucia.

Check out my blog entry about this Hike in Saint Lucia.

Very enjoyable article and beautiful photographs. I've been to St Lucia twice and have visited the distillery, but haven't climbed either Piton.

I also enjoyed your article on the Mount Gay Visitors Centre in Barbados. I've been there too, but it was nearly twenty years ago when there was only one type of tour and it was much more basic than what is on offer nowadays.

Thanks! I wasn't able to visit Saint Lucia Distillers although I knocked back quite a few bottles of Chairman's Reserve while I was on the island.

I'm hoping to visit Saint Lucia again soon and make a trip to Martinique and Guadeloupe as well.
