What Rums I brought back from Grenada/PR

Brought back 12, normally I bring back more than that but with I wasn't (still don't) sure how much I'd gone over budget with having to rearrange travel accomodations. Strangely enough...none from PR. If I had to cut some out it might as well be from the island I frequent atleast once a year.

4 bottles of Rivers @around 25ECD a piece, would recommend buying at the duty free as 2 of the four caps leaked in flight

3 bottles of clarkes court Old Grog @around 30ecd/each

3 bottles of Westerhall Vintage Rum @around 70ecd/each

2 bottles of clarkes court #37 @around 104ecd/each

I didn't make it to clarkes court or westerhall but found that the grocery store in the spiceland mall carried a wide variety of these rums. The only one that I only saw at the duty free only was the #37.

I am quite jealous!!! I love rums from Grenada and really enjoy the Clarkes Court but have not been able to find it in the states any longer. Must convince the wife we need a trip to Grenada!!

The Westerhall Vintage and Clarke's Court #37 must be fairly new. They certainly weren't being made when I was last in Grenada in 2006. I'm wondering if the Westerhall Vintage is similar to Westerhall Plantation. The bottle and label are virtually identical.

I have not tried any of those rums you provided pictures for - be sure to give us the report when you crack them open!

Its funny because I thought the bottles for westerhall were identical but when I put them next to each other they're not. Shape looks wise is the same but the dimensions are different. As for the rum the color is much darker. The westerhall is newer although I've seen pictures of it within the last year on their site and the #37 is so new that my 2 bottles are numbered 096 and 091...looks like I timed them right. Strangely enough I haven't cracked any open yet but will write when I do. As for tasting, anytime someone is over my cabinet is always open Thanks guys.
