Ron Millonario
We have Ron Millonario in Cali now.. Tasting note:
Ron Millonario, Solera 15, Reserva Especial:Aromas of prune, allspice, dates, nutmeg, cloves, balsam, Demerara sugar and dried-fig build to also show caramel, candied tree fruits, maple, butter toffee and molasses. The palate is full with treacle, sweet tea, Lazarakia, mince tart, Panettone, Marzipan, toffee bathed in a lovely sweetness that washes the palate but maintains a clean, salient limpidity. The simple mouth-feel reveals dried fruits, caramel, fig custard, sultanas and butterscotch. All this leads to a solid finish, with lovely balance that articulates in a gentle fade that is rich with excellent palate activity.

Not initially, i don't think. They are distributed by a smaller distributor and apparently it is harder to get stuff into the 'chains'-- i searched their site and did not find anything..

Just saw this on the shelf of a local liquor store. Sounds like a worthy purchase.

We have this rum exclusively at Joseph's Liqour Store. It is a great offering. Rich, complex with a great mouth feel. Great potential for pairing with cigars. Did the cigar smoking smilie retire?

Hank, I just noticed that the cigar smilie had gone awol. It was in the files but only after deleting it and then uploading it again was it visible. It's back.

I'm on the fringe of Orange County in the Inland Empire and have been checking the Costco's around here for Ron Millonario since this post,..... to no avail. What Costco(s) did you find this at?

Total Wine has it. I was going to pick one up today, but got an Appleton 12 instead. I think California has a TW or two.
