Sam Sifton, the NYTimes resto reviewer, has just published, today, a review of The Hurricane Club in NYC, which I think is interesting and fun to read. I hope you all get a kick out of a SERIOUS publication's take on the current love affair with Tiki. BTW, Sifton gives it one star which would seem to be a low score, but I have had a couple of email exchanges with him in the past and here's what he has to say about the award of stars....
"Here's the deal... if we're giving a star, that's not a bad thing, as too many people seem to believe. It's a good thing."
