Default Help on a rum from The Dominican Republic

Hey everyone,
It's been a while since partaking on the forum. I feel like I have so much to catch up on again and soon will be restocking my selves with plenty of good rums. I can hardly wait.

I have a buddy on his way to the Domincan Republic as we speak. He told me to give him a list of a few exceptional bottles of rum and he would bring me them back.

So my question is what are so eceptional rums from there that you can't find online? I love dark rums, El Dorado 12- 15, Diplimatico Exclusiva, Ron Abuelo, Ron Matusalem, Mt Gay Rum Extra Old....So I hope this gives you a idea of my taste buds.

Please give imput.
Thanks
Chris

look for Opthimus 25 from Oliver and Oliver, or any of the Cubaney Rums aged 15 or more years.

I hope your buddy brought his hip boots. Hurricane Gustavo is going to slam western Haiti today, and it will be dumping a huge amount of rain on the already Fay waterlogged DR.
