New York Ministry of Rum Festival
The night before I leave for London and Rum Experience 2008 I'll be hosting a Rum Tasting Festival in New York City - Oct 20, 2008. The exact location is yet to be confirmed but with several options presented over the last couple of days I can announce this upcoming event. In addition to rum, I've received interest from several Caribbean Island Tourist Boards.
Ministry of Rum forum members will be receive discounts to this and other Ministry of Rum events in Chicago, Miami and another city, which will be announced as soon as a few more details are nailed down.
I'm also working with several liquor stores in these cities to offer discounts on store stock after these events.

Here's a link to some details on the New York Ministry of Rum Festival. The list of rums participating is growing but I don't want to add them until they are confirmed.
But my question to you is what would you like to see at this event? Is it more important to taste a rum which is new to you or would you rather meet the distiller or a representative from the distillery?
