My son, knowing my love of all things rum, had me try some at his home. Dubious stuff to be sure... Says it's made in Florida, but I could find no "Home Page" for it or the distillery that makes it. But onto the taste...
It's unlike most spiced rums, it's certainly not a Captain Morgan clone... This one has more nutmeg or cinnamon in it or something that gives it a very unique and to my taste at least, unpleasant flavor in the mouth.
While some may enjoy it, it certainly costs little to do so. So try it as your pallet may think it's the cat's meow. One man's so so is another man's "best" and if you love rum as I do, then it's all about the journey...
