Chairman's Reserve Spiced Rum - coming soon
Just got the word from Clyde Davis at Team Spirits Imports that Chairman's Reserve Spiced Rum is ALMOST ready for release in the U.S.A.
This photo is obviously not the exact label for the U.S.A. since it reads, "70 CL" for volume, but other than this detail, this looks like the final label.
I'm encouraged by the fact that it is 80-proof.
Hope to try it very soon and report back

The judges gave it best in class at the International Spirits Challenge. Personally I thought the Elements Eight spiced shaded it, but the other judges were split almost evenly.
Great product - wonderfully orangey, sweet up front with surprising dryness on the finish. Fantastic value too

Well, I got to try this today, and boy, am I ever stoked to get it in stock next month.
Spice? SPICE! Wonderful baking spices. Christmas spices! This is the PERFECT spiced rum for egg nog and other holiday drinks.
I wished that I had my coconut water when the supplier came by; I'm dying to try it with some.

Does it have any of that Bois Bande in it? I don't like the taste of that.

I don't believe that any Bois Bande rums are available in the U.S.A. because of TTB regulations, but I could be very wrong. It might even be an FDA issue.
So, no, it isn't a Bois Bande rum.

Well then, it sounds worth trying. Anything out of the Bounty Rum factory is usually good. If I remember correctly from my tour this is one of their labels.

so many spiced rums, so little time...I think Im gonna have to make time. We'll see, maybe the spiced rum craze will over run the mojito craze. Bring it on, my glass is always ready

Spiced rum is big on the islands. I can't wait for the mojito craze to die down, if that means good spiced rum will be available to drink on ice, I'm game!
