Atlantico Premium Rum From Dominican Republic
I've tasted a sample of a new rum coming soon from the Dominican Republic, named Atlantico. It's a blend of old rums that's rich and sensuous, with a sweet flavor, lots of aged oak, long, smooth, warm finish. I'm hoping this new rum will be among the contestants at Ed's Competition in New Orleans in July.

Rum Expert Panel
Our Rum Expert Panel has been constituted. Along with a few of my esteemed colleagues, we're sampling new rum products and submitting our collective reviews. The first product is Atlantico Private Cask Rum from Dominican Republic. Watch for these reviews to appear soon.

I look forward to tasting this rum. I wonder if it will make it to Orlando. I have not seen a new rum on the shelves here in a good while. I was travelling and missed the opportunity to ask to be on the panel, but I look forward to the reviews to help guide my further purchases!

Hank, you're on the panel and a bottle is on the way to you. Feel free to post some tasting notes or a short review online at your convenience.
Rum Dood has posted a review of Atlantico.

I had forgotten that I was invited awhile ago. Must be age, or too much rum,
or too much aged rum. I look forward to it!

Must be the age then, because the last two are impossible to have.

If there are any more open spots, I would love to be added to your tasting panel. I would even be glad to pay the shipping. I live a pretty barren part of the country for a rum lover and have to order most of my prefered rums.

Blue, I am open to suggestions for new additions to the rum expert panel. I'll leave it up to the other members to decide who else should join their ranks. Are you able to write a short, concise review of a new rum and post it online?

Robert, I don't care to join the panel because, honestly, I am not qualified to judge. But, I do want to be adopted by you and your family. It is no problem for me to change my name to Burr and move to Florida.
