Smile New Special Limited Release from Bundaberg Rum

On the 11th March Bundaberg Rum will be releasing its latest special release "Master Distillers: Golden Reserve." No doubt the line up on release day will be huge (last Master Distillers release - Port Barrel - saw over 1000 people lined up, some lining up for over 3 weeks preceding the release!).

Would you be able to tell us how many rums are in the blend, what is the minimum age of the youngest rum in the blend and how big a part of the blend actually is 11 years old?

I would also be interested in knowing how long the blend is finished in the sherry and port barrels. Furthermore I would like to know what type of Sherry and Port barrels were used.

Will certainly let you all know as soon as we get our hands on the relevant information. BDC usually keep their cards pretty close to their chest til closer to release dates.

Bundaberg Rum just released this rum on the 11 March. Some more information was also released on the blend itself. If interested, here is the relevant link:

Additionally, they also released a trial run of a spiced rum on the same weekend:
