White Rums

Whether you call them, clear, silver, white or simple 'see through' how do you drink them?

Default 32 light rums--blind taste test

Hey rummies! My friend Paul and I just completed a tournament style blind taste test to see which light rum made the best daiquiri. Tons of info, and of course tasting notes are included. If you drink light rum, you'll probably get something useful out if it: http://bit.ly/Surzu5

Cheers!

Wow another great job!!

Again it's too bad the top 4.. actually top 8 isn't available in our Provincial liquor stores.

But great work nonetheless! Thanks!

Unhappy

Thanks very much! Sorry these aren't available nearby, but there are still a ton of great rums outside those eight. If you open the Excel file link, you can see the actual scores for each rum. Some of the matchups were quite close. Cheers!

Ha! This one was all about daiquiris, but not to worry--a 'ti punch/agricole contest is in the works! Cheers
