367 years ago in 1647, there were 120 drinking houses in Bridgetown, Barbados, only 20 years after the first British colony was established on the island.

Default Hello from Chicagoland

Wanted to introduce myself and do plenty of research. I am looking to import a product from the Caribbean. In searching for other importers, I found Edward's import company page.

I figured I would pick up the phone and call and see if anybody would talk to me about the business (far shot, I know). Edward picks up the phone says "hello" (I did not know he ran this site or who he was before I called, I was just calling a liquor import company to gain knowledge). I asked him if I was calling the import company and he responds "yes". I asked him how he was doing. He replied "What are you selling me?" (I'm thinking great, this guy wants me off the phone fast). I then say I'm just a small entrepreneur wanting to find out about the business and not trying to sell you anything. He says cool. He then takes at least 1/2 hour of his time answering questions for me, telling me about the business, and talking about life. What an awesome guy. You don't find people like him that often. Once again, just want to say what an awesome guy. I am in the Chicago burbs and he told me to give him a call sometime when I head to the city and if he is around, I am welcome to stop by and ask him any questions about the business.

Ed, you are awesome!!!!!!!

Anyways, I look forward to learning from everybody on here.
