Default Identify this


Just found a few bottles of THIS in my apartment, seems very old and cant get any info from google about this - when made, cost, taste

Ron carlos superior, 151 proof, 750ml, import

Anyone have had this or knows anything ?

I googled Ron Carlos 151 and found it for sale at several US retailers in the $15-20 range for a one liter bottle. Also have a gold and a white rum under the Ron Carlos label. Could not find any reviews, which may point to it being nothing special.

Aldov, you didn't peel off the sticker on the bottle to find out the colour of the rum inside did you? lol, I'm kidding.

It's the first time I see a 151proof and it clearly says "Caution flammable" wow!! well you got them for free. Here's hoping that the previous occupant of your apartment wasn't wanted by the cops for vandalism.. if so.. might as well dump the evidence in the sink as soon as you can before they come knocking at your door! if not let us know how it tastes lol.

Seriously thanks I always like to look at bottle pictures.

Ron Carlos was/is a southern US (usually) states budget drugstore/liquor mart/drive-thru, etc. brand. Hey, the 151 can be used to boost a drink... That bottle with label looks like it a 90's version.
