Havana Club Maximo

Has anyone had the pleasure (and large bank account) of trying this high priced stuff? If so, how would you desribe it compared to other brands?

It's magnificent - a superbly rounded and rich rum. I'm ashamed to say I tasted it rather the worse for wear so don't have detailed mental notes.

I remember it being exceptional but barely worth 10% of what was paid for it.
