New Temptryst flavor
This one has been aging for some time and felt ready to try a blend. [The sword shop is resting so I can dedicate to the rum for a while.] The basis is a Southwestern desert fruit shrub. Various spellings include Algerita, Algarita, and Agarita. Both of my grandmothers called it algerita. They made jellies from the berries. It is a part of my cultural heritage and it grows in my yard. This is as organic as it gets. I harvested both wood and a few berries to create this Temptryst Algerita Rum.
This flavor is so far from anything else that I almost don't know where to start. It has aspects that bring to mind both Tequila and Scotch.
