forrest and I have each had a bottle to swig. It's not bad. Really a mixer with the Mexico rum profile. The lower tier D'aristi is close. Sweet, but not overly sweet like some Central American rums. It's a young rum and I suspect a dose of caramel. f, any ideas about this one? It is sold at the Bali Hai restaurant in San Diego and a few little shops not far from Shelter Island. There is a pretty good story about its name and the chaps which produce it.
