Ian Burrell has an unopened bottle and there is one at the J Wray & Nephew offices - but I doubt either would part with them...
If you wanna taste it, there are numerous bars around town that stock it. Lab and Floridita in Soho both have bottles I saw the other day.

Your best bet is on line, from either the US or Germany. I'll scour around for you to see what I can come up with.

Well I was excited when I saw this post. So I put an order through and paid via Paypal back on the 12th March. I checked Paypal yesterday and it's still unclaimed, with no attempted correspondence (sure they probably can't respond in English or something). Don't know what to do now other than cancel the unclaimed Paypal...

Starting to seem like whiskykauf24.de is a bit of a pipe dream. Anyone here able to email them in German and try to establish if anyone's home?
Try using Babel Fish translation online. I have done so with some FWI rum sites with no problems.

I used that to order, even though I was pretty much able to workout the web form anyway and know a tiny bit of German. I can't see how it's going to do much good given the current scenario. It's really awkward way to translate your own communications into another language frankly.
Perhaps they should rename their store 'RumKampf' , which would mean Rum Struggle.
Thanks to a tip off from another member I going to try Macha Weine, another German store who lists the 250th. Wish me luck :)

Stephan Macha lurks around this site from time to time. Let me know if there are any problems. I know Stephan speaks English so you might try sending an email and mentioning his store was recommended here.

Stephan of Macha Weine did a wonderful job of supplying me with some great Cuban rums. Fair price and fast delivery via DHL, I recall.

thanks guys, excellent feedback. I have even more confidence in trying him out. Pity I wasted all this time pursuing the store in this and the other thread. Also great that he speaks English. I will make sure I make mention of this site to him and the recommendations given! :D

Well I'm thinking it's been over 1 month and I've been busy so I better email and see what happened to my order. First response I get today is : 'I will check for it'. Follow a bit later by: 'Order was not send out. It is not on stock anymore.'
So yet again after getting excited that I'd sourced it, I'm back to square one. I'm getting to the stage where I might as well say screw it I'm over it and focus on getting the new special ed 30 year old.
