Yes, yet another Canadian who loves Rum. From an island in the Pacific with narry a sugar cane field in sight...just evergreen trees...we never-the-less have to frequent the Caribbean to sample these delights. Dark and aged cane spirits from many sources are my favorites (haven't met one yet that I didn't like). Smoothly sipped or garnished with ice, a splash of soda water and wedge of lime are the usual beverage choices, but won't turn down a genuine rum punch! Cheers, Richard.
