Hey everyone!
I just came across this site in my quest to broaden my knowledge of my favorite spirits, and thought I might stay a while!
I have developed a taste for rum over many years of sailboat racing, where many events are sponsored by rum distilleries. Mount Gay has contributed a lot to my sport, hence I have contributed to their bottom line for years! For sipping rum, my current favorite is Appleton Reserve, for rum and coke it is Gosling's Black Seal, and for general mixed drinks its Mount Gay or Appleton VX. I was also a fan of Bundaberg Black when I could get it...sadly they don't make it anymore!
I am hoping to discover some new favorites! See you on the boards!
