Anyone here wear Idole de Lubin?

I'm quite the perfume freak, have about 250 bottles of the stuff. One of the best releases in recent years was Idole by the revived house of Lubin. What has that got to do with rum? Well, apart from traditional Bay Rhum, it's the only perfume I know of that features rum absolute as a major ingredient, and it is indeed wonderfully boozy. The other ingredients would seem no less attractive to a rum lover: orange peel, sugarcane ,spices, woods, leather. The bottle is a knockout as well. So I'm wondering, are there any fans here who wear rum, as well as drinking it :D?

I`m a perfume freak too..i have been curious about this perfume for some time and was going to order a sample along with a Tahitian perfume called Moea but haven`t yet done that. So its good? is it unisex?

It is marketed as a men's and with all the booze & spice would be thought of as masculine. Not that I personally care about gender designations (I love Caron's Parfum Sacrй). Unlike those (great) 80s macho blockbusters like Kouros or Versailles it is elegant and in no way thick (the nose Olivia Giacobetti, is a master of spriteliness). Get yourself a sample for sure, I can't imagine you not liking it (wearing may be a different story). The smell is divine.

I went to search for it yesterday on the net and found it marketed as a fragrance for both men and women on several sites so i might then get a sample..;) actually many of the masculine fragrances are very nice becasue they are quite woody and spicy.
