I'll mostly be drinking Stella Artois and Fat Tire beers actually.

I may mix in a few Zaya and Gingers or V/X and Gingers.

Oh, and while I would LOVE to see the Pats lose, I don't expect it. Randy Freaking Moss is going to get a Super Bowl ring. Maybe I should stop watching football altogether...

I was just reaching for some Appleton VX and ginger ale myself at kickoff.

I suspect a lot of N.E. fans, particularly Governors ... or was it Mayor? and Newspapers that were toting 19 and Ohhh memorabilia poured and ate healthy servings of "Old Crow" this evening.:p

During some of the shots of the NE owner's box, there was an unopened bottle of 10 Cane but I couldn't id any other rums from the short and blurry shots.

Looks like I don't have to give up on football just yet.

BTW, I'm sorry to report that I went rum-free for the game. Friend of mine brought over a batch of homebrew beer that I had helped him with back in December.

As I enjoyed watching the Giants defense pummel Tom Brady, I had a few Magic Hat beers, a Plantation Jamaican, and a Ron del Barrilito 3 Star.

Great super bowl, its about time New York got one again!

Now if only my Niners will wake up...

Im feeling this is starting to make this topic go off course, but...

What the heck are we still doing with Smith and Dilfer???

How bout Shawn Hill throwing to Randy Moss... hes a free-agent wouldnt you know it!

Yeah but my Niners became cheap when DeBar was shut down... and Randy's agent won't let him go free.;)

I'm fairly certain that Dilfer is going to retire. I'm hoping we can bring in Billy Volek to compete for the starting job.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled rum conversation.

During the game, the most enjoyable since the Niners last, we had delicious champagne cocktails flavored with an ounce of Rum Manhattan (Brugal White), but topped with Cristalino Cava in lieu of champange.

Dilfer seems headed for the NFL Channel, but Shaun Hill was just signed to a three year contract. Methinks I see the hand of Mike Martz and a bit of quarterback competition coming.
