I've got a load of miniatures of this in the office and of their Selecto. I could be persuaded to mail them?

Santa Teresa Rhum Orange
It is one of my favorite flavored rums -- brilliant and bright orange flavor. I like it after dinner in a snifter. A small amount goes a long way. It's also my favorite to drizzle over a rum cake to finish it off.
This could also be a great ingredient in a cocktail calling for strong orange flavor.

That is a very nice orange liqueur. In spite of the label which I believe says Orange Liqueur, it is bottled at 40% abv or 80 proof. I don't see a picture of the bottle on this site, so I'll have to fix that.
This orange flavored rum has won awards at each of the tastings I've done. You won't go wrong, if you can find it. It's also not as sweet as some of the others.

I have no orange Curacao anymore..
Do you think it could be a good substitute for orange curacao in a Mai Tai?

You'll have 50ml of it to try for yourself shortly. I put the package into the post office last night - sorry for the delay

It would be a great substitute for orange curacao, but i would suggest pulling back a little with the sugar syrup (or rock candy syrup), as the S.T. Rhum Orange is fairly sweet and will over power the subtle tropical blend you need for a great Mai tai. While your at it try a A Daiquiri La Teresa. 40ml Santa Teresa 1796, 15ml Santa Teresa Rhum orange, The Juice of half a lime and a flame zest orange twist as a garnish. HMMMMM. Created by yours truly of course.

Maybe a little experiment would be in order here (love those things..:D).2 cocktails, one with and one without the flamed orange twist to find out how the flavor difference is.
As I don`t have the Santa Theresa 1796 what other rums could be good for substitutes?

Got the ST Orange now :), (Thank you Paul!) and i find it to be absolutely wonderful, really a brilliant orange taste and a fantastic aroma. Will never want to without this one!
I find the Selecto nice as well.

For that particular Daiquiri, any heavy styled of rum with natural dried fruit and citrus flavours coming through the blend , like Appeton Extra, Eldorado 15, MountGay XO or Cockspur 12
