The results were unveiled yesterday (January 19, 2012) at the Victoria Whisky Festival in Victoria, British Columbia. Here are those results:

Well Arctic Wolf, I prefer your Awards that's on your RumHowler's webpage since there are no notes attached to the results of this combined Awards contest.

How was this decided? did you all meet or this was done and decided via the internet from all corners of the Country?

For the Canadian Whisky Awards, all of the judges (seven of us) from across Canada (and one in the US) were sent a huge stack of blind samples, and we were each given guidelines to use for scoring. We worked completely independently and were given about 8 weeks to complete the judging and to send (via the internet) our scores into the head judge who tallied everything.
