You are packing for a 1 year trip to an isolated area with no outside contact. What would be your first choice on a bottle of RUM to pack? Let's add a cigar to this also.
Mine would be the Ron Zacapa 23 year and a Davidoff RR. There might be better choices out there but lets keep it to the ones you have tasted only.

El Dorado 15 Year and Romeo Y Julieta No 1 or quite possibly La Libertad Robusto. I hope I would get a giant humidor too to avoid dry tobacco.
Only one? ONE?
Which isolated area? What foods are available? Is it cold or warm? Dry or humid? Am I leaving on a Wednesday? How long has it been since I called my mother? All of these are important factors in a decision like this!

Damoiseau Tres Rhum Vieux 15, Ashton Virgin Sun Grown Torpedo
( of course, if I was allowed, it would be a Cohiba Siglo VI)

Heck...I've been surviving in this rock for ten years on nothing but Ron del Barillito Three Star and a box of Habana Cohiba Especiales...and don't ask me how I got the Habanas!

Havana Club 15 year old and the new Por Laranaga Magnifico, both absolutely brilliant

As this rock is a territory of the USA products from Cuba are banned by embargo, so one must use a delicate way of procurring the aforementioned...If you get my drift.;)

I spend more time with Barillito Two Star, I find the Three Star to be very good and I enjoy it but the Two Star is more versatile. Three Star is more of a last drink as opposed to the first of the evening.

I can't argue that the Two Star is more versatile. To my own subjective taste, I do love the Three Star in a Rum and Tonic. And of course it shines neat as a nightcap. I've also used a splash of the Three Star in homemade mango and ginger ice cream with wonderful results.
And yes Count....The Cohibas do seem to smoke a little sweeter, and lend an aura of intrigue when I present one to my friends visiting from the States.

I am limited on my Rum experience. As of right now I would take one of Appleton Estates Aged Rums and a Cigar from Central America. I love Nicaraguan Tobacco.
