Duty Free Shops

I will be travelling to the dominican republic next month. There and back I will go through 3 duty free shops, miami(outbound), santo domingo(on my return) and san juan as a connection. Any suggestions on what rums to buy or better yet what is currently onsale. Last trip I purchase Ron Zacapa 23, Atlantico, UNHIQ XO, Cubaney Centario

You can pick up Barcelo Imperial, Bermudez 1812 Centanario or Don Armando anywhere in the DR very cheap (under $20). These are all very fine rums. If money is no object you may be able to find a bottle of Brugal Siglo de Oro ($150)

The San Juan airport has DonQ Gran Anejo and Bacardi Reserva Limitada.

Thanks, I have Don Armando, Imperial from previous trips. When the peso fell to around 56 to 1 a few years back I snagged a Brugal Siglo de Oro for about $37.
Jrl915 you are reading my mind about San Juan DonQ Gran Anejo and Bacardi Reserva Limitada are on my list. I hope to find get while in Santo Domingo

I just returned from the DR, I was able to get several Barcelo products on the island Imperial, Gran Platinum, Anejo and Gran Anejo and Dorado. At airport duty free, purchased 2 Ron Zacapa for $80 and 2 pack of Club Punta Cana Muy Viejo for $22. I connected in San Juan and no Don Q Grand Anejo available. I started to get some Ron Barrilito and Barcardi but change my mine as I recalled from previous trips, I did't care much for them. Although I never heard of it, I did purchase Trigo Reserva Añeja Rum.
