A rum drinker surrounded by beer bozos and wine snobs!

Learned about fine rums on multiple trips to Bermuda and the Caribbean.

Current favorites include Barcelo Imperial, Zaya Gran Reserva, and some unnamed stuff I bought from a beach vendor in Dominican Republic!

Have also been known to drink the occasional Captain & Coke (when very thirsty).

Welcome to the forums. It sounds like you've already been spoiled, Bermuda and the Dominican Republic are hard to beat for just picking any rum off the shelf and pouring it into a cold cocktail.

Caught my attention, I to am from the Great White North but in Canada. I always thought the Great White North was north of the 49th parallel ie. Canada.

A recent passtime is shovelling snow and coming in to a sip of rum to warm you up.

On a clear day I can see Canada across Lake Erie.

Also, we have a team in the Ontario Hockey League, and we probably get more snow than you do (approx. 150"" per year).

What do we do while all that snow is lying around? Drink rum, of course!
