Hi, my friend will take a holiday in Jamaica, does anybody know where he can get Appleton Estate 30 years? He promised to get one for me!

I have seen it in one of the duty free liquor stores in the departure terminal of the airport in Montego Bay many times. I believe the name of that store is Sunshine liquors. Good luck and please let us know what you think of it after you've sampled it!

The actual estate tour is a good place too. they have it, but they know that it is worth a good bit. you can probably get a better price at the duty free shops. problem is, when you are at the duty free shops, your usually about to come home. if you can't find it, then your out of luck.
I have three 30 yrs, and went for the entire Edwin Charley collection at the shops. got all four in a wooden case.
By the way, if you are in Negril, the Aqua bar is about the only place to get some to taste. it is right on the beach just down from breezes. just ask around and you will get there.

What was the cost of the EC collection in Jamacia. It used to be even hard to find there. Must you buy the entire collection?

thanks bob, I've got the virtue, enlightenment and the transformation. Not sure what the name of the 4th is but I'm hunting for it. Check tomarrow at work and see which you have if you would please.
Hope all is well!

I bought the entire set in a wooden box for $400.00 us, and you can get any, or all of the bottles. I just got the case because it was cheaper to buy four than any three of them. They also had some bigger (3liter bottles i believe) but i didnt' even price them.

appleton 30 is the cheapest at the duty free, like any rum in Jamaica. Been in Jamaica twice in the past 10 month, and every bottles i have seen on the island is more expensive than at the duty free.....

Agree with you, re Ken & Liz at Aqua. They are responsible for turning me on to aged rum.

Aqua in Negril, Jamaica is a great place.
