Assuming you could find a bottle of this, what would it retail for? Looks like the regular Green Label goes for ~$70 at a local store here in SF:

Thanks!

Also, I might have a lead on a bottle of Cadenhead's 18 year Jamaican. This one I have not tried. Is it reasonably sought after?

I did see a discussion about Cadenhead's here on the forum and I'd be curious to hear what folks here thought were the standouts in that line. I personally enjoyed the 22 year Guyana when I tried it.

Thanks!

No clue on this one....never heard of it until your post.

Looking forward to one of the more experienced members posting with some info.

It's available in Canada for about $80. I was ambivalent about it the first time round (which was when I reviewed it), but a year later I thought it improved markedly and would buy it again if there weren't so many other choices competing for my slender purse.

Cadenhead's policy of no chill filtering makes it a richer drink that you might suppose. Worth a buy, in my opinion...always assuming it can be found.

You're specifically referring to the Cadenhead's 22 year Demerara? Glad to hear the approximate retail price. Suprised that it would be so close to the what I'm seeing for the regular Green Label stuff (without a specific age or country of origin). If it's still available in Canada I'd love to hear about it-- I've heard it's more or less impossible to find.

Assuming the 18 year Jamaican was probably in a similar price range.

Thanks!

Haven't seen one lately. I tasted the 22 yr old Demerara at the same time I bought the Green Label, and it's disappeared since then (though I still see the Green Label occasionally)...but then, I haven't really been looking. I'll keep an eye out from now. Note that Kensington Wine Market in Calgary does have a Cadenhead Laphroaig aged Demerara...not sure if this is the same thing as your 22 yr old.
