Gift from my mother

Hello all!
I'm a new member and i'm a new rum drinker. Actually just started a week ago.
Someone gave me a bottle of old rum he found in his basement. He couldnt remember what or when he bought it, but he knows its been few years ago.

I've been reading around to find out how i can qualify this rum. Taste, price, rarity, how old it is. I didnt find anything else that its old. Anyone have an idea or an opinion on this bottle?

Pampero is very good. As far as price or rarity? This is a "common" rum I can get locally for about $25-$30. It's not rare...but it is good. Drink it.gzzg
