New to rum. Thought I would buy me a bottle of Neisson Rhum Agricole Blanc to give it a try. Mixed me up a ti punch and boy was I surprised! This stuff is amazing!! Looking forward to trying many different rums!! Any suggestions for a rum rookie? Cheers, Adrian

Were you able to find Petite Canne Sugar Cane Syrup as well as the Neisson Blanc? Sugar cane syrup from Martinique is very different from simple syrup.
As for other amazing rums, have you found the El Dorado rums in your state? Santa Teresa?

Where in the states can I purchase the Petite Canne Sugar Cane Syrup. Does Binnys have it?

Binny's should have it online. If they don't please let me know.

Did not see the Petite Canne Sugar Cane Syrup on Binny's site. I will look for it at the store next time I'm in Chicago. I did find it at several other online stores including amazon. Never had a Ti Punch but looking forward to getting the Neisson Blanc and the syrup in time to toast the upcoming spring weather, though I just spent 2 hours digging out from another 10 inch snowfall here in the Motor City.

There are a few online places to find it. I wish I had better distribution, but its only in some markets.

Like myself many moons ago, you lucked out tasting one of the best rhum agricoles first time out. Check out some of my agricoles posts over the past year and you will see my road to discovery and enlightenment. Welcome aboard!

Thanks all!! Unfortunately I have been sick with the flu. Talk about a bad few weeks! I'm finally feeling better and looking forward to some rum! I found both the rhum and the syrup at Daveco liquors in Denver. I'm glad to be back, cheers!!
