Hey All,

Tales of the Cocktail and the Museum of the American Cocktail are putting on a one-day rum immersion workshop (Mmmm.... rum immersion!) in New Orleans on Saturday, December 8. I'll be walking everyone through the history side of things, Ben Gersh of Old New Orleans Rum will be walking everyone through the rum-making process at the distillery, and afterwards we'll be enjoying a rum pairing lunch, with cocktails by the great mixologist Lu Brow of Cafe Adelaide.

Seriously, if you love rum and you're looking for a reason to visit New Orleans, this is t he time.

The event runs from 11am to 3pm, and costs $150, including a bottle of rum (signed), "And a Bottle of Rum" (signed), lunch, and transportation to the distillery and back.

For more information on The Rum Field Training School on Dec. 8, contact Ann Rogers at 504-343-4285 or visit www.TalesoftheCocktail.com.

If you'd like a Word version of the whole press release, email me and I'll zap you a copy. Spread the word!

Wish I were closer :(

Maybe you could do the same program at "Cuba Libre" :)
....in Philadelphia.

I figure you're not quite as enamored with Cuba Libre in Atlantic City ;)
