Rum Connoisseurs inside please!

I am packing my things in my house to move and just went through my liquor cabinet and I found a bottle of Brugal Anejo Ron Superior that a friend bought for me as a gift about 4 years ago while he was home in the Dominican Republic. I haven't opened it and it hasn't been refrigerated is there a time frame of when I should crack it open and drink it? I am not a BIG rum drinker but I do enjoy a glass every now and again! Also I have the same Brugal but in the Viejo (?) I think it is called that is from the same friend and same age unopened same question on it as well.
