does anyone know how pot//column still is owned by D.D.L and what the name of each of them

There is a bit of confusion in my mind about El Dorado but Tiare has written some interesting commentary from information she received from the distillery on her blog (http://amountainofcrushedice.wordpress.com/2008/11/13/el-dorado-rum-%E2%80%93-the-liquid-gold/).
I knew El Dorado is a brand name for a line of rums produced by DDL.
I remember reading that DDL used distillate primarily from Enmore as their base rum. However after re-reading Tiares' blog, it seems they use a number of different stills.
Has DDL ever only used Enmore?

i m pretty sure that el dorado own 9 still ( 2 wooden pot, 1 wooden column, 2 savalle still , and 4 column) and i know the name of 3 of them ( enmore, versaille and uitvilught) i m just wondering of the name of the other one. i might by wrong too so if anyone could correct me if i m wrong and tell me the name of their still , i would really appreciate
Maybe Port Morant? I know that is a geographical area but weren't most of the stills named after the area they were situated???.

Yes, that's right.
Enmore, Uitvlugt, Versailles, Albion, Port Mourant, Blairmont, Skeldon and several others I can't remember, are all names of sugar plantations in Guyana. At one time, every plantation had its own still/distillery, but with the passage of time, all these distilleries have closed down and the actual stills themselves have been transfered to the Diamond distillery where DDL is based.
Diamond is on the East Bank of the Demerara River, Versailles is on the West Bank of the Demerara River, Uitvlugt is on the West Coast of Demerara while Enmore is on the East Coast of Demerara. The other plantations I mentioned, are all in Berbice: Blairmont is on the West Bank of the Berbice River, while Albion, Port Mourant and Skeldon are all on the Corentyne in East Berbice. Skeldon is some 110 miles south-east of Georgetown and right on the border with Suriname.
The Port Mourant still is one of the wooden ones and the Port Mourant Single Barrel Rum has a very strong "woody" flavour, which is also detectable in all of the blended rums which use rum from that particular still.
Incidentally, Port Mourant in Guyana is spelt with a "u", partly to avoid confusion with Port Morant which is in Jamaica.
