Opinions wanted

I was given a bottle of Bacardi Black - made in Cuba, bought at teh Toronto duty free store - recently. I have been a bit under the weather since receipt of the bottle and since I cannot taste anything with a good old fashioned head cold I haven't tried the bottle yet.

Does anyone have established opinions of this rum?

I'm not aware of any Bacardi rum being bottled in Cuba. Does the label say bottled in Cuba or just Cuban tradition?

No problem. It is important to read the labels carefully. I can't recall how many times I've been told this or that rum was x years old but when the label was read it turned out that the age wasn't x at all. The same thing happens with the origins, but I've only met one honest marketing man who admitted that they were trying to deceive the public.
