The wife is really digging the rum creams lately, but we are almost out of our supply we had from the islands.

Has anybody seen any around the Cambridge/Boston/New England area?

Thanks,
kk

Nothing in CT or western ma. that I've seen krusty. I've been looking for it as well.

If worse comes to worse I could email you my Puerto Rican Coquito or Haitian Kremas recipes, but these are rum cream drinks you'd probably want to make in a larger amount (say a bottle of rum)

Hey Ron,

I took a clue from you in another post... they have Cruzan Rum Cream available at Table and Vine... just got 3 bottles in... looks like it'll make for a nice mother's day gift for the wife!!!

Thanks!

And that's why you love her so much. Any woman that would settle for a few bottles of rum cream for Mother's Day would probably share with you. Happy Mother's Day.

Ahh, I'm just happy that she is liking some form of rum! At least I won't get as much of a scowl when I come home with several new additions to the rum shelves - as long as I bring along a bottle of rum cream for her!

Believe me, I won't get away with just a few bottles for Mother's Day... not with new twins at home anyway... the shopping continues... glass.gif

Well good find on the Cruzan Rum Cream. . it is tasty; but ABSOLUTELY not to be missed is the El Dorado Rum Cream--it verges on evil, and also, for pure unadulterated fun, try the Castries Peanut Rum Cream-- but watch out if you have peanut allergies;).

I have been searching for both of those and would really like to try them. I have heard such great things about them, but there is NO chance of finding those around here - unless Hi Times has started shipping to the East Coast... (Please...???)drool.gif

My in-laws are just back from St Lucia and were not able to find the Castries there even!!

Krusty buddy hows it going? Good if you've been watching the sox lately. Congrads on the twins! cheers.gif Its amazing how great minds think alike, I just bought a bottle of cruzan rum cream from Table and Vine as well drooling.gif They had it hidden away in the cream liquor section instead of the rum section, didn't stop me from eventually finding it! Hope you enjoy it with the misses while the little ones are sleeping away and the sox keep scoring.

Sox are rolling aren't they? Some great games lately! Check out the boston dirt dogs website - there is some pretty good stuff on the (intentional) plunking of Bay last night by that punk jobba the hut... and some good stuff on his mother... yikes!!!

Looks like we're going to have to convince Forrest to send us some ED and peanut rum cream from CA... sounds great! I've been looking for those 2 with no success... yet!;)

Krusty, I have a bottle of Castries and I am almost positive I found it at the Porter Square Liquor World. If not there, then some other places i have been to recently: wine and cheese cask in somerville, supreme liquors in central square, and fresh pond mall liquor store (which is fairly huge)

I've been on the lookout for some rum creams as well. Castries is the only one I have ever tried, but I take it that its not the same as other rum creams, what with all the peanuttyness. I can't find any other rum creams in the area, and being a poor student I'm limited by T/bus+walking accessibility.
