Due to a couple of new members spamming others after registering, new members can not now send private messages in this forum.

Sorry for the distraction. I am in the process of locating and informing the offending isp's involved in this spam. I take this kind of behavior seriously and don't want to tarnish your experience here at the Ministry of Rum forums.

Thanks Ed. Such distractions are so infrequent on this site that we tend to take the convivial setting for granted.

Actually there is a lot of work that goes into administering something like this. Less than 1/3 of the registrations can actually result in someone posting on this forum, but every once in a while someone slips through.

They've realized two things...

1. You're Canadian so you probably don't need cheap Cialis from Canada
2. You spent all your money on the MG tricentenial, and you're probably not going to part with that

I have tried to post 2 replys to my thread on Rum selection for a tasting, yet neither has made it to the forum, I suppose they are waiting for moderator review, but as a new memeber this is very annoying since it has been greater than 24 hours for both...I will assume that this post will also not make it othe forum, but since I cannot send a PM to a moderator..well you see how this do loop continues...

I'd like to take a second to say Thanks for the attentive work & service provided by Edward Hamilton. There will always be those that distract, or don't share the same purpose/spirit and what's important is how it's dealt with - timely & responsibly. The couple of times I noticed issues related to the site, I informed Ed, he got right back to me and addressed the issues swiftly.

I guess these days I'm not important enough to be spammed (we should all be so unlucky).
