I told the misses the other night about how there are rum creams and she got excited, only problem is that there isn't any for sale in my area. Which got me to thinking, maybe somebody has a recipe to make it? If so how long does it last and can you drink it on the rocks? This is usually how we will drink bailey's. Thanks guys.

Here's a link I posted some time ago to the home made Puerto Rican rum cream specialty Coquito (http://www.nydailynews.com/latino/2007/12/15/2007-12-15_loco_for_coquito.html).
It's usually only made around the Holidays, but it does go down nicely whenever you have a hankering for a rum cream type drink.
It'll last a few days in the fridge so make it in small batches. It does well on the rocks imho.

Just got around to looking at the recipe Rum runner, it looks like its right up my alley. The misses loves coquito but the thing thats always kept me away is my life long dislike of eggs. The recipe you listed is sans eggs so Im gonna give it a try, heck im gonna even slip the misses a little and see if she realizes that it doesn't have eggs. Thanks again.
