Anybody got any hints to this rum in the 21 version I think? Bought a bottle in a blue ceramic, numbered bottle and velvet bag a couple of years ago and have yet to open it and try...wanted any ideas as to what to expect before I decide to crack it open:D

This rum was released to celebrate the coming of the 21st Century, hence the 21. The rum is actually made from rums aged 15 years. It has a medium body and great flavor. I recommend it as a sipper, or with a few drops of water. Obviously, you are a cigar lover. If you look through the threads, I have posted some comments on rum and cigars, and also some pairings that I enjoy. Give them a look if you like, and let me know what you think!

Cheers Hank, we have a cigar dinner at the end of this month to celebrate the last time we are legally allowed to smoke indoors in restaurants in the UK and I think I may well take this one along to go on the table:)

Sitting with a bottle of Flor de Cana Centenario 21 in front of me, but I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy.
Color is deep amber with a slight hint of green.
Gentle nose of cane flower, vanilla, and oak... hint of canela.
Taste: lots of mid tones, medium base, few high notes, good harmony.
Big finish!
Fanatastic!!!

Cheers for the info on Amathus...I can keep them in mind when guys ask about the rums we are drinking on our Last Gasp dinner. They usually use Drinkfinder for rums but he hasn't got the Flor de Cana:confused:
